My Training and Teaching History
I have over 20 years of musical theatre training and performing experience having studied voice with Laura Menard, Amy Williams, and Amelia DeMayo, received acting training in the Uta Hagen and Stanislavsky acting method from John Jamiel and David McDonald, interned for Neil Berg and 100 Years of Broadway, attended preparatory programs at both Manhattan School of Music and NYU Cap-21, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2009 with a BA in Theatre Performance and Speech from Wagner College. After college, while performing professionally, I was introduced to and became immersed in Educational Theatre and knew I had found my niche. It has become the greatest joy of my life.

I have over 15 years experience directing, choreographing, teaching, and administrating educational theatre. I most recently acted as both the Head of the Voice Department and a Program Director at the non-profit theatre company, Random Farms Kids’ Theater in Westchester, NY for 9+ years. As a director/choreographer, I have created over 40 musicals for ages 5-18 over the last 12 years. As a voice teacher, I’ve taught over 100 private students, many of who are represented and work professionally. In my career, I have directed, collaborated with, and learned from both industry professionals and novices just starting out.
I believe strongly in the power of music and art, and have seen firsthand how it can truly change lives. I bring a positive attitude, love of the craft, and desire to inspire excellence to my work and strive to empower young people to find their own unique voices and truths through music!
